Based in Wollongong we can move households and businesses to anywhere in Australia.  We do though receive the highest amount of enquiries from and to the Wollongong region, Sydney, Southern Highlands, South Coast and up and down the eastern seaboard of Australia including all of Queensland and Victoria.

For a stress free move we can also provide packing service.  This can either be done just prior to the move or any other day as you prefer. You can either organise your own packaging material, or we can bring in the packaging material such as boxes, tapes etc, and you only pay for the material that you have used. Our packing services are based on the same hourly rates as moving plus the cost of packing supplies. If you’d like us to do all or part of your packing and/or unpacking, please let us know when you make your bookings.

Yes, we sure do. We want to make moving as stress-free as possible for our clients, so we also offer unpacking as a service. If you'd like us to handle your unpacking to maximise convenience, feel free to contact us for a quote.

Yes, we can move furniture of all sizes, spa pools, piano or extra large and heavy items will be extra charge.

Yes.  We are fully insured to carry out removals. We provide goods in transit cover and our professional crew carry public liability insurance.

Moving costs can be complicated. It will depend on a number of things such as the removalist services you chose, the amount you need to move, the number of removalists required, distance and access.

It’s About Removals offers a 5-star customer service and one of the most competitive rates on the market. We have a minimum charge of two hours.  The average removalist hourly rate for two men and a truck ranges from $150 to $250 per hour depending on the type of move and whether it's a local move or long distance.
